Concert by the Dutch Royal Army Representative Orchestra

One of the most talented wind orchestras in the world, the Royal Military Band of the Royal Netherlands Army “Johan Willem Friso” will give a concert in the manege of the Hamina Reserve Officers School on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. the concert will be conducted by Major Tijmen Botma, Chief Conductor of the Orchestra and Professor of Wind Orchestra Conducting at the Groningen Academy of Music. 

We hear about 80 minutes of enjoyable wind orchestra music. The composers of the evening are Ennio Morricone and Richard Wagner.

The evening concert hall is a space completed in 1832 as the equestrian manege of the Finnish Imperial Cadet School, which was renovated in 2011 as an 800-seat banquet and concert hall respecting the original atmosphere of the building.

The public is asked to arrive on time. The cafe of the famous military home opens in the public lobby of Manese at 6 p.m.
