Hamina Bastion
The central bastion in the fortress of Hamina was first completed in the early 19th century. Its 58 casemates, or vaults made of bricks, were originally intended to serve as bomb-proof storage facilities.
Now, the renovated Bastion with its canopy provides a spectacular venue for large events. The Bastion is also the main venue for the Hamina Tattoo. The canopy can accommondate thousands of people, and the vaults serve as extraordinary restaurant facilities.
